Course Introduction
Chinese External Medicine is a Clinical main subject guided by the fundamental theory of TCM,combining internal and external treatment of TCM.Its main symptoms occur on human body surface and main scope contains diagnosis and treatment of external conditions. The course content includes two aspects: general introduction and specific discussions.There are several chapters in general introduction:History of Chinese External Medicine、Scope,Disease and Terminology in Chinese External Medicine、Etiology& Pathogenesis of External Conditions、Pattern Identification of External Conditions and Chinese Medical Treatment of External Conditions. Specific Discussions includes Sores and Ulcers、Conditions of the Breast、Goiter、Peripheral Vascular disease、Male Urogenital Diseases、Dermatoses and Sexually Transmitted Diseases、Anorectal Conditions and Other External Conditions. Combining theory teaching with practice will be adopted in this course teaching, including class teaching, case discussion, clinic practice, etc.
